Returns for periods less than one year are not annualized.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Performance figures are in U.S. dollars and assume reinvestment of income and dividends for the entire period stated. Performance figures stated gross of fees do not reflect the deduction of management fees. Performance results of clients would be reduced by the firm›s management fees. The net figures shown above reflect the highest applicable management fees for Scout Small Cap Equity of 0.85% per annum. The firm's management fees are detailed in its Form ADV Part 2A.

There is no guarantee the portfolio will meet its investment objectives. All investments involve risk, including the possible loss of principal.

Due to the limited focus of this strategy, the Scout Small Cap Strategy is more susceptible to market volatility because smaller companies may not have the management experience, financial resources, product diversification and competitive strengths of larger companies. Additionally, smaller company stocks tend to be sold less often and in smaller amounts than larger company stocks.

The Scout Small Cap Equity Composite includes portfolios that invest in companies with market capitalizations, at the time of purchase, similar to companies in the Russell 2000® Growth Index. The Russell 2000® Growth Index is a non-managed index that is generally considered to approximate movements in the U.S. small-capitalization stock with high growth characteristics. Small Cap portfolios are typically at least 80% invested in companies with market capitalizations less than $3 billion. The Index does not reflect management fees or transaction costs. It is not possible to invest directly in an unmanaged index. Prior to October 2013, the composite benchmark was the Russell 2000 Index.
